Customized Workforce Training

The Business Roundtable working in collaboration with its sister organization, the Regional Technical Training Center (RTTC), provides customized job, career training and job placement, to help employers in strategically growing and retaining staff, while advancing underserved members of communities and making them self sufficient.

 

The instructional content of each customized training programs is based upon the specific needs of the employer and job parameters. Collaboration culminating into unique employer alliances has helped to create 11 state-approved workforce training programs including:

Update: During June and July, 2009, RTTC certified a total of 72 candidates in the following programs, Biotechnology - 16 graduates, Field Technician Installer - 24 graduates and Environmental Engineering Technician - 32 graduates.           

Since 1997, the RTTC has trained over 600 individuals resulting in more than $19 million in annual income, thus stimulating the regional tax base. As a public service, the training programs emphasize “equal access” and are open to all Bay Area residents who qualify.
